SOLUTIONS
Plastic has become a constant element in our lives. It's everywhere: product packaging, cosmetic ingredients, textiles, mobile phones, etc. Its omnipresence is such that many would find the mere fact of giving it up a difficult task. Reducing the consumption of plastics therefore requires not only a change in habits,
but also a change of mindset.
RETHINK
It is undeniable that using plastic is more convenient for life, but please seriously think about what kind of global environment we will face in the future. Our plastic consumption and our dependence on it. Do a plastic audit in our lives and make a habit change.
REDUCE
Your plastic consumption. Whenever possible, choose alternatives that are not plastic.
Any plastic items that you cannot refuse, such as utensils, containers, bottles and bags
REFUSE
Single use plastic as much as you can. Politely ask the server not to give you a straw when ordering drinks. Shop at zero waste stores, carry your own water bottles, coffee mugs, shopping bags, containers and utensils. Choose items made in materials other than plastics, such as glass, paper, wood, ceramic, stainless steel or bamboo
RECYCLE
What you can’t avoid. Talk to your property management at home and at work to check that they have a proper recycling system. If they don’t, collect your recyclables and bring them to near by community collection centers. Sort and clean them before dropping them.
